Windoors: From Indian Forest Contractors to Timber Exporters
The Hashmi family has been running various timber and lumber business from past four generations. The first office of our family owned timber business was set up in Pharenda (Anandnagar) in Gorakhpur (1985) by Late Mr. S. M. Nawab Ali. He had also extended the Business line in Nepal, which was maintained and thrived by his son Late Mr. Haji S. M. Amin Hashmi in 1920.
The year 1961 saw another stride forward in our business venture when Late Mr. S. M. Mateen Hashmi(Son of Late Mr. S. M. Amin Hashmi) expanded business in Lakhimpur Kheri (South & North) and Bahraich (East & West). He brought the business to a whole other level with his entrepreneurial spirit and acumen. Apart from the business in India, he also had trade relations with Timber Corporation of Nepal(TNC).
THE BIRTH OF WINDOORS
The latest venture in expansion in 1993 was undertaken by Mr. S. M. Haseen Hashmi who started “Windoors” in 1993. Its first office was set up in Bahraich. Later on, regional offices were started in Gandhidham (District: Kutch in Gujarat) and Lucknow. Even before starting windoors, Mr. Haseen Hashmi was actively involved in his famly timber business since 1985. The Windoors took a major step forward in the year 2000 when it started dealing in international timber and lumber.
Being in this field for so long has been a proof of our consistency, efficiency, and reliability with unwavering attention to treating our customers and business partners well.
Over the last 3 decades, Windoors has grown and developed beyond its original base and a better manufacturing approach.
